Always great to go on with Audrey Russo -- and especially right before the most momentous election of our lives.

Listen here.

There is a coercive genius to the Black Lives Matter movement. Seven years after forming "in response" to the acquittal of a Hispanic civil rights activist and Obama supporter named George Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in self-defense, this Marxist-led organization has emerged at the forefront of a brainwashing campaign that has caused masses of Americans to embrace mob rule over law and order, racial strife over patriotism, lies over facts, and to develop a deep and abiding hatred of themselves and their country. How? By turning every statistically rare shooting of a black man by police into "another Trayvon," regardless of the circumstances around each shooting -- and regardless of the circumstances around Trayvon.

Today, when cities burn, stores are looted and policemen are attacked, these same BLM-brainwashed Americans, up to and including the leadership of the Democratic Party, regard the destruction and violence of these "mainly peaceful protests" as justified and legitimate. That's a revolutionary achievement of the highest order. If the Biden-Harris ticket prevails, BLM may be remembered as the most successful vanguard of Marxism in American history.

John Wayne's critique of the anti-American message of High Noon begins with what is, yes, the preposterous notion that American pioneers, who had crossed the plains in covered wagons to settle the West, would readily surrender their town to three bandits. This may make movie fans see the film in a new light. It certainly gave me a better understanding of the communist messaging in the script written by Carl Foreman, a former member of the Communist Party. Foreman's portrayal of American pioneers becomes a subversive use of cinematic art to throw dirt on the American spirit, to grind into the dust the heroism of the Old West, even in the clever guise of being a paeon to American individualism, as represented by Gary Cooper's role as the sheriff.

The reason I was thinking about Wayne's comments lately is because much of Foreman's jaundiced rewrite of Pioneer America captures the submissive conformity of a vast swathe of America today. It is hard to imagine the depth of disgust that John Wayne would...

This is kind of where I am on Hunter Biden's "laptop from hell," now augmented by corroborating and amplifying evidence offered by business associates of Hunter Biden's, including Bevan Cooney and Mike Bobulinski, who have even at this late hour brought forward their own communications with other Biden insiders: The Biden Family story of corruption is only a symptom of the systemic corruption and subversion of the powerful agencies that are entrusted and empowered to protect the American people from all enemies, foreign and domestic. These agencies have become anti-American rogue operations.

Politico reports: "Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say"

Fool me once ....

Here are excerpts from the letter.

Many of us worked for presidents of both political parties.

Also known as The Swamp.

We are all also individuals who see Russia as one of our nation’s primary adversaries.

After, that is, we got out disinformation orders to smear Donald Trump as "Putin's puppet." Reagan was a cowboy who embarrased us all by calling Soviet Union an "evil empire," naturally.

Some of us [know] Russian behavior intimately.

Wink, wink.

We write to say that the arrival on the US political scene of emails purportedly belonging to Vice President Biden’s son Hunter ... has...

On October 6, the following message appeared from Pope's official Twitter account:

"Fellow travelers"? The Pope, of course, is not using a Catholic term to address the faithful but a communist one, and is thus projecting not a Catholic dream but a communist one. A big deal, no? Catholics are not supposed to be sympathizers with godless communists, correct?

Also on October 6, Peter Beinart, a New York Times contributor, went the Pope one further, invoking the example of actual communists -- in this case, black American Stalinists, communists  -- as a model for calling on globalist bodies,...

Thanks be for the refuge and refreshment of the countryside from all of the honest-to-goodness "Man Caused Disasters" we are trying to weather and survive. Not so long ago, of course, the Obama-era phrase kicked up limitless derision, at least in our own quarters, because "man caused disasters" was such an unwieldy cover for Islamic jihad against the West. Little did we dream that even greater onslaughts against our liberty and sovereignty, not only as a free country but as free citizens and human beings, would be mobilized against us and weaponized, even from within our own ranks, by elected, confirmed, appointed, background-checked, vetted, respected, quoted, sought after, relied upon existential enemies within.

From the medical tyrants with the masks to the political tyrants of the lockdowns, 2020 is the year of Man Caused Disasters.  Don't miss getting outside...

A month or so ago, I began posting videos and essays at Patreon, mainly but not exclusively for subscribers. I will be posting video weekly, but only so long as I have something new or something that has been overlooked.

I must say I am enjoying the new format as well as the feedback so far and I hope you will consider joining.

Take a look here.

I have been reading a fascinating book -- Final Verdict by Adela Rogers St. Johns. It is a memoir about her father, Earl Rogers, a California superstar defense attorney in the early part of the 20th century.

St Johns was a highly successful and wonderful writer, screenwriter and journalist. What really sets this 1962 book apart from anything I have read before is her unique perspective on her protagonist -- her brilliant, charming, but, of course, flawed father. She didn't come to know her father as most children do; after work, on weekends, and so on, a child gradually pulling a father into focus along the way to maturity. As a very young girl -- her feet still didn't touch the floor under her chair -- Adela Rogers became what is best described as her father's professional confidante. While her peers were in classrooms, she was very often in court rooms and her father's...

"Fake News" says it all -- but then there is so much more to say.

I am reading through a soon-to-be-published book, Disinformation: Soviet Political Warfare 1917-1992, by Natalie Grant. Besides becoming one of the pre-eminent experts in communist political warfare of the 20th century, Grant, who died in 2002, was born and raised in pre-revolutionary Russia and witnessed the revolution and civil war that followed. I will likely have something to say about the book as a whole, but for now I am busy underlining  definitions and observations, a couple of which I will copy here.

"An extensive disinformation operation of the Soviet type requires the strictest censorship, a smothered press, and a people downgraded to the `masses' and unable to take part in active politics."

Does anything better describe the state of our nation in 2020? Here in the Land of the...

Probably I have missed some along with way, but "Revolutionary Cadres for Biden" are still mounting. Bob Avakian, leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party, is calling on followers not to throw away their votes in protest, but to "actually [vote] for the Democratic Party candidate, Biden, in order to effectively vote against Trump." Additionally, we can also now count Angela Davis twice.

Davis first came out for Joe BIden last month, pitching him as the "candidate who can be most effectively...

Listen here to my latest episode of the Audrey Russo Show.

Continuing to rummage through my clip box, I came across a piece I wrote when I was just a couple of years out of college, which is to say, I knew nothing about Roy Cohn and even less about his most famous boss, Sen. Joseph McCarthy. Nonetheless, it was 1986, Cohn was in the news, and there I was at his Upper East Side townhouse, getting the inside skinny, or something.

Until today, I had not laid eyes on this piece in the intervening decades. At some point, though, especially after my post-2008 acquaintance with the legend and life of Joseph McCarthy, which started here, I began to wonder what in tarnation I might have written.

Here it is -- my profile of Roy Cohn from another time and place. As I recall, the dramatic photo of Cohn won a Washington Press Association prize for my friend, the photographer Stephen Crowley, who went on to spend a long career at the New York Times.

This (above) is a screenshot of the Twitter account of the late Mike Adams. I just saw the horrendous news that the professor and columnist and pro-life / free speech warrior was found dead of a gunshot wound earlier this week in his home in North Carolina. He was 55.

Adams' employer, the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, had recently hounded him into early retirement over the baying-for-blood outcry over a tweet, a statement of honest, painful opinon grounded in bitter irony, protesting the loss of liberty in the Corona lockdown.

Here it is:

Authorities are investigating whether foul play was involved.

Such a quaint phrase, foul play. Even if Adams died by his own hand, the foulest play was behind and all around the cause of death: institutional capitulation to the mob.

Thirty years ago on the old MGM lot in Culver City, CA, dreamboat Hollywood idol and American patriot Robert Taylor was un-personned, or, as we say today, "canceled." In deference to a woke cadre of writers working in the building, Lorimar Studios agreed to strip away the golden-era-mega-star's name from The Robert Taylor Building, a simple, white, three-storey building next door to the Jean Harlow and Fred Astaire buildings.

Why? Robert Taylor had not discovered America, co-founded the Republic or led Confederate soldiers into battle. He was an actor, a screen idol, and the longest contract player in MGM history. But he was also an anti-communist and a patriot, and when he was invited to testify before the House Committee on Un-American Activities in 1947, he traveled to Washington and told the committee what he knew from long experience about Moscow-coordinated, Communist...

Just as we were about to go live with the webinar "Today's Communist Insurrection" at the Center for Security Policy, one of the producers said to me, "Don't be nervous, Alan Keyes just joined the audience." What a kick it was to then receive an invitation from Alan to go on his show "Let's Talk America" so we could continue discussing these same important issues.

Here is the link to the show, which aired lived online yesterday.

Lucky Joe Biden has received a new endorsement. This one comes from a former vice presidential candidate -- a Communist Party vice presidential candidate. That would be Angela Davis, who ran on the Communist Party USA ticket with Gus Hall (John Brennan's 1976 favorite) in 1980 and 1984, after receiving those East German honors (above) in 1972.

Davis, a ideological inspiration for Black Lives Matter, came out for Creepy Joe on Russian government TV -- no kidding.

But how appropriate. Before becoming synomomous with enabling (and Hunter benefiting from) the rise of the Red Chinese military threat, Biden's political career was boosted by the pro-Moscow support from Council for a Liveable World and Al Gore Sr.

Here is what Davis said:

I don't see this election as being about choosing a candidate who will be able to lead us in the right direction. It will be about choosing a candidate who can be most effectively pressured into allowing more space for the evolving anti-racist movement. ... Biden is far more likely to take mass demands seriously than the current occupant of the White House so that this coming November the election will ask us not so much to vote for the best candidate, but to vote for or against ourselves; and to vote for ourselves, I think, means that we will have to campaign for and vote for Biden....

Missed this is the smoke of burning American cities.

William Barr to Maria Bartiromo, June 21, 2020.

In terms of the future of Durham's investigation, he's pressing ahead as hard as he can, and I expect that we will have some developments, hopefully, before the end of this summer. But as I've said, his investigation will continue. It's not going to stop because of the election. What happens after the election may depend on who wins the election.

These are certainly not the words of a law enforcement officer on a mission to expose an attempted coup against a sitting president. They sound more like the words of the Cover-Up General in inaction, not-working around the clock to slow-walk a conspiracy against our democractic process into irrelevance.

It's...

I'm currently reading The Big Dance: The Untold Story of Weatherman Kathy Boudin and the Terrorist Family that Committed the Brink's Robbery Murders by John Casetllucci. There's much to learn about Antifa and Black Lives Matter by studying some of their ideological and even inspirational forbears.

In order to break down the allure of The Weathermen faction for people such as Kathy Boudin (whose son Chesa Boudin is San Francisco district attorney), Castellucci quotes Ayers, who raised Chesa while Boudin and Chesa's father were in prison for the Brink's robbery murders. "We have one task, and that's to make ourselves into tools of the revolution ... We have to be willing to fight people...

Screengrabs from video shot by The Daily Caller's Richie McGinness

Yesterday, in Washington, D.C., a guerilla organizer with a smile and a megaphone stood at the foot of a tribute to the end of slavery in America featuring Abraham Lincoln and an emancipated slave. To great hooting and applause, he made the following announcement.  "On Thursday, at 7pm, we're tearing this motherf----- down."

How dare you?

You can't do that ...

That's against the law ...

You're under arrest ...

Such natural responses no longer occur to government officials -- with the possible exception of the President of the United States, whose precarious position...

I am delighted by the interest in my most recent appearance on "Crowdsource the Truth" with Jason Goodman. Two notable pickups include Conservative Treehouse and Gateway Pundit.

Although the interview is one hour, the research and reporting that made it possible span more than a decade, beginning right after 9/11. This work first appeared in my weekly syndicated newspaper column and assorted blog essays, and a good chunk of it appears in my volume of collected columns, No Fear. I invite new visitors to this website to search the archive for "COIN," "goat," "Petraeus," "MyChrystal," "tea," "Allen," "dhimmitude," "Koran," "Mortenson," "Jones," "Leavenworth," "Hatley," and the like. The results will convey a sense of the vast petri dish in which hundreds of thousands of US military were forced to sink or swim under the command of social engineering globalists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Once this largely unexamined backstory becomes better known, the fact that these same commanders are now joined in an ambush against our "American First" counter-revolutionary president makes perfect and perfectly sinister sense.

Army Chief of Staff Douglas MacArthur consults Major George S. Patton (center) on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.

In his memoir, Reminscences, General Douglas MacArthur provides an illuminating account of the Bonus Army riots in the summer of 1932, which, as Army Chief of Staff, he would help quell after District of the Columbia requested assistance.

MacArthur's account highlights some striking similarities with recent Black LIves Matter/Antifa rioting in the nation's capital, especially when it comes to his overview of the tense situation in these final months of the Herbert Hoover administration.

In 1964, MacArthur wrote:

In these days of wholehearted unity, it is hard to believe that thirty years ago the President of the United States lived in danger, and the Congress shook with fear at the sight and sound of the marchers. It is hard to believe, too, that...

It's not every day seven years after publication that a new book review appears, but such was my happy surprise: British Intelligence, a new online magazine, has just published a review of American Betrayal by Mark Gullick in its June 2020 issue.

The editors introduce the review this way:

This is the second of a four-part series, Writing the Resistance, the first of which featured David Horowitz and links naturally to our second subject, American columnist and author Diana West. West is the author of The Death of the Grown-Up,...

A tweet from @uyghur_groyper alerted me to the eye-catching document above. It is described by @JianRen12 as "Chinese Communist Party's Announcement to support African American Resistance, 1968."

Not reading a word of Chinese, I can't evaluate it. I can, however, link to a 1968 declaration by Chairman Mao, recently referenced by Cliff Kincaid here, titled, "Support for the Afro-American Struggle Against Violent Repression." The map above looks more like a battle plan of action and it is hard not to see the similarities to a map of American cities finally on fire more than 50 years later.

Now for a possible update on Chinese strategy...

This is a post for "family" -- readers of this blog, and especially longtime readers of this blog, who will be able to hearken back to The Disinformation Wars on American Betrayal.

As some will have noticed, I have not been publishing much of late in the Epoch Times. Until quite recently, this was due to the fact that I have not been writing much of late either, having been consumed by private matters for some months. My April 12 column, "When Grand Juries Are Not So Grand," was my first contribition since February 3, which was my first contribution since December 22, 2019. I think it was probably also my last.

On April 21, I received an email from the op-ed...

Back in October 2019, I abandoned an essay I had begun about Andy McCarthy's book, Ball of Collusion, regarding his statement of faith in the Intelligence Community/Mueller Report finding that "Russia" "hacked" the DNC. As many will recall, the evidence for this finding is a redacted draft report submitted to the FBI by a DNC contractor, Crowdstrike.

After the recent release of December 2017 testimony of Crowdstrike co-founder (and Mueller protege) Shawn Henry in which Henry admits that Crowdstrike had no evidence for this foundational charge, I found myself thinking about that essay fragment (below), and wondering about all the corrections (including in McCarthy's book) that become mandatory to straighten out a badly twisted record. These corrections are not happening, however. Nor is anyone asking why this vital House testimony remained locked away from public sight...

I can't think of a better word than "blithering" to describe Conrad Black's writings about FDR, especially in conservative publications.

His writings about American Betrayal and Yours Truly, however, are something else again but I haven't found the apt word to encapsulate the crude, pompous and vicious streak in him that my work has magically inspired.

To wit:

Diana West, a right-wing loopy who has occasionally aroused cautious hopefulness that she has been house-trained, has published a novel presented as a non-fiction work, entitled “American Betrayal." ... The West farrago of lies has been thoroughly debunked, especially by Ron Radosh...

Messaging on Twitter in these corona times is revealing all kinds of new fissures. Take the Twitter account of OANN's Jack Posobiec. Having racked up around 750K followers on Twitter, Posobiec has perplexed some conservatives of late for having come out as an enthusiast for the corona lockdown and for Bill Gates. This is something of a redundancy since Bill Gates is the Big Daddy of Corona Lockdown, at least until the economy is completely dead and the New Vaccine Order begins.

In these same corona times, more tweets in defense of Bill Gates caught my eye -- in this case by David Horowitz. This became a little interesting on learning, also via Twitter, that Horowitz was a mentor of Posobiec.

Like mentor, like mentored?

I am filing this under Smart Researchers who build brick walls and hit them, blocking avenues of thought and study, categorically dismissing the possibility that there might be something on the other side of the wall. Motivation? Agenda? Ideology? Profit motive? Subversion? Conspiracy? All of the above and more?

Nah, the assassination of Caesar was just dumb luck.

Julie Kelly's "Time to Sideline False Prophets of Doom" makes the case in less sweeping fashion but "good intentions," "poor planning" are surely tattered placeholders by this advanced, low point.

Alex Berenson, too, provides a daily reality check on media disinfo; however, he, too, sees only "government failure" behind the crisis.

Also at The Epoch Times

Once again, it was goosebumps for diehards when John Solomon told Sean Hannity that John Durham was issuing subpoenas on behalf of a grand jury. Twitter pulses raced. John Brennan was closer than ever to a rockpile in prison stripes, wasn't he? Comey, Ohr, Kramer, Simpson, Clinton were sweating bullets, right?

I will be jubilant if I am wrong, but I continue to doubt it. I do not expect the anti-Trump conspirators to be indicted and tried for sedition or treason or any other serious crime by Attorney General William Barr's Department of Justice. Nothing we have seen to date points to it. What should...

Just finished up a wonderful conversation with Jason Goodman of "Crowdsource the Truth." Our topic was   the #NewCoronaOrder through the Marxist lens. I won't say, "Enjoy" because it's all so godawful, but I hope viewers find it of interest!

According to this priceless report in The Guardian from November 30, 2017, Chinese state media described the meeting between Barack Obama and Xi, which took place two weeks after President Trump's state visit to Beijing, as a meeting of "veteran cadres."

If you are a lifelong communist, "veteran cadre" is a term of veneration. If you are a former president if the United States, "veteran cadre" is a term of treason.

The Guardian put it this way:

Chinese media fawned over Obama and Xi, dubbing the pair `veteran cadres', a term typically applied to retired Communist officials. But in a sign of the diplomatic sensitivity, Chinese state media reported on the event in a single terse article.

Western media mirrored...

On with Frank Gaffney, trying to make sense of the Corona World Order.

The Imperial College London computer model predicting 500,000 deaths in the UK, spurring draconian quarantine measures by Boris Johnson's government and also our government, has been -- what is the best word? Tweaked? Adjusted?

Epidemiologist Neil Ferguson put it out there that his initial estimate of 500,000 deaths might be a titch high. Now he thinks the death toll could be something like 20,000 British people, and maybe not even that many. And about that 18 month quarantine Ferguson called for? Well, terribly sorry, old bean, that was a little off as well. Ferguson is now saying the virus will peak in  two or three weeks.

No one should ever believe anything the man says again but that doesn't change the fact that...
