What with the Clinton Foundation in the news lately for being at the locus of Hillary Clinton's mind-blowing corruption, selling-out of national patrimony, and the like, I thought it would be nice to revisit the glory days of the old place -- as in 2012 when Saudi Arabian Prince Turki, Bill Clinton's Georgetown roommate and, more important, the Saudi dictatorship's former intelligence chief and brother-in-law of Prince Bandar, the Saudi dictatorship's former US Ambassador, came around to toss the following bouquet to Bill Clinton.

"Muslims will never forget your deliverance of Bosnia-Herzogovenia and Kosovo, and near-deliverance, within 100 meters, of Palestine from occupation."

Do watch at least the beginning of video for yourself -- it really does have to be seen to be believed (especially the canned flourishes that play as Bill takes centerstage) -- and ponder the clo$e per$onal relation$hips that all the Clintons (all the Bushes, too!) had with these wonderful, wonderful sharia totalitarians who had nothing but nothing to do with 9/11.

Still, after reading about those 28 pages, it is hard not to blanche at Clinton's joke (?) about his old pal Turki, brother-in-law of Bandar ("Bandar Bush," as Bar called him), which follows a reminder that he and Turki went to Georgetown together. Hoya, Hoya.

Clinton:

"For more than two decades he was head of the Saudi intelligence services. At least when I was president, he didn't have to spy on the United States. He could just call me and I'd tell him."

Is it my imagination, or is the laughter, even f these Hardcore Clintonistas, a but tepid?

Only this week do we learn from the Daily Caller that the former POTUS was at this very time in 2012 honorary chairman of the world's largest sharia education education company, Dubai-based GEMS. This was a post he occupied between 2011-2014, during which he collected $5.6 million in fees from the sharia-teaching organization, which, itself sharia compliant, would also pay the "zakat," which as Islamic law expert Stephen Coughlin notes, must include a tithe to jihad.

Separately, the Clinton Foundation, too, netted millions -- between $1 and $5 million -- from sharia-compliant GEMS, which, as the Daily Caller reported, bills itself as the only foreign entity to pass Islamic muster with Saudi authorities. Bonus: GEMS' CEO, Sunny Varkey, has contributed up to half a million dollars to the Clinton Foundation.

But that's practically camel scratch next to the up-to-$25 million the Saudi dictatorship has contributed to the Clinton Foundation -- sharia financing that Donald Trump called on Hillary Clinton to return. Nothing doing. 

Then again, 25 million Saudi petrodollars is itself practically camel scratch next to the money deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman says the Saudis are paying into Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. In June, the Jordanian Petra News Agency reported that young Salman, currently the defense minister of the desert dictatorship, said the Saudis were providing 20 percent of Hillary Clinton's campaign costs.

Nothing to worry about, however; Hillary campaign volunteers throughout the MSM are keeping a lid on it.
