Muhammad Al Adnani, spokesman for Al Qaeda in Iraq (and later for the Islamic State), as i.d.'d by the DIA in August 2012.
---
Drawing on an August 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency cable, one of the documents currently spilling out of "secret" archives that buttresses Donald Trump's depiction of President Obama and Hillary Clintons as "founders" of ISIS, Breitbart News reports that Hillary Clinton was well aware that that "the Obama administration was supporting Al Qaeda in Iraq, the terrorist group that became the Islamic State."
The cable also discusses the emergence of a broader Islamic state from the jihadist factions represented by al-Adnani, which were being supported by "the West, Gulf Countries and Turkey."
(MSM, I don't hear you....)
But there's something even more damning to ISIS "founders" Obama and Clinton in the 2012 DIA report.
At Chronicles, Jim Jatras explains.
As of this writing, not one American media source of which this writer is aware has brought up in relation to Trump’s claims the August 2012 report (declassified and released in 2015 under a FOIA request from Judicial Watch) from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) stating that “there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in Eastern Syria, and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime.” The “supporting powers” are identified as “western countries” (no doubt including and led by the United States), “the Gulf States” (presumably including and led by Saudi Arabia), and “Turkey” (just Turkey).
A Salafist principality: "This is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want."
Exactly.
Here (below) is how it appears in the DIA report.

UPDATE: Ken Timmerman on same and much more here.
Aside from the origins of the Obame-Clinton-created Islamic State, let us hope we are about to embark on yet another Trump-brokered national conversation about Previously Taboo Subject No. 12,987, this one about how it was that the Obama-Clinton administration changed sides to join the jihad in the first place, in Libya and elsewhere throughout the inmitigated disasters of the "Arab Spring" and beyond.
We can see the thinking behind this evolving in several Bush-era cables authored by the late Christopher Stevens, who, after all, entered Libya in 2011 as the Obama administration point man to "the rebels" -- i.e., AQ in Libya. Journalist John Rosenthal discusses more here.
"Founders" is a nice word for it.
