Last month, American Betrayal received its 235th 5-star review at Amazon, for which I am very grateful. The review also includes a somewhat startling admission.

Extremely kind words aside, is it not a jolt to see the reviewer's explanation as to why it had taken three years before he or she got around to reading a book pre-ordered in 2013?
A commentator named Charlene picked up on this same point this week, writing in reply:

Perhaps. What is clear, however, is that those who actually read American Betrayal see that the extended and widespread disinformation campaign against it spearheaded by "respected commentators" has nothing to do with the contents of the book itself. What is also clear is that my detractors will apparently say anything to prevent others from finding this "box of matches" and seeing for themselves -- sans their expert "narrative" -- what really happened to destroy us.
