Probably I have missed some along with way, but "Revolutionary Cadres for Biden" are still mounting. Bob Avakian, leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party, is calling on followers not to throw away their votes in protest, but to "actually [vote] for the Democratic Party candidate, Biden, in order to effectively vote against Trump." Additionally, we can also now count Angela Davis twice.
Davis first came out for Joe BIden last month, pitching him as the "candidate who can be most effectively pressured." Not a resounding endorsement -- unless you're a communist shopping around for that perfect empty vessel to hijack to communist paradise.
But once was not enough. Angela Davis has come out for Biden again. After Sen. Kamala Harris joined the ticket as the Democratic Party's vice presidential candidate, Davis -- herself Communist Party leader Gus Hall's vice presidential running mate twice in the 1980s -- offered her second endorsment.
Davis said she was "excited" by the addition of Harris, which made the ticket "more palatable." However, she again hammered the revolution's bottom line: "It's really a question of who we will be able to pressure."
This is a most stunning kind of endorsement. To Angela Davis, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are Useful Idiots, two lumps of putty in the hands of the communist movement, which, at this revolutionary moment, is fronted by the trained Marxists at the top of the race-hustling organization Black Lives Matter.
Davis's take on the malleable Biden-Harris, however, is probably not as a shocking as her confidence about broadcasting it. Davis, herself a career Marxist, a dedicated Communist Party politician, and a revolutionary implicated, though not convicted, for her role in the kidnapping and murder of a California judge, doesn't care who knows it. She has not one iota of hesitation about advertising the fact twice that she supports the Democratic Party presidential ticket for its susceptibility to her radical influence.
Is"Under the Commuist Thumb: Biden-Harris" really a winning slogan with the American people? Then again, Davis can be equally confident that #FakeNews will not report on her "pressure" comments, as, for example, Reuters did not here.
It's worth nothing that 2020 is a long way from 2008, when the Obama campaign did everything possible to keep Barack Obama separate from his political sponsors late of the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dorhn, communist fellow traveller Alice Palmer, Communist Party operative Frank Marshall Davis, and the like. The closest Angela Davis came to the presidential campaign of 2008 was in outraged descriptions of the non-spoofable Michelle Obama's "Angela Davis" hair as featured on a New Yorker cover.

"It's clearly a joke, a parody of these crazy fears and rumours and scare tactics about Obama's past and ideology," New Yorker editor David Remnick tried to explain in the summer of 2008. See? It was all about how crazy we were, those of us who took "Obama's past and ideology" seriously. Today, this is nothing to joke about.
But neither does their seem to be any concern among leading revolutionary cadres over revealing their support for the Democratic presidential ticket.
Pray that they have miscalculated.
