As a nation, we have more to remember on Memorial Day than most of us realize. Back in 2019, Stefan Molyneux interviewed me about the darkest crime discussed in American Betrayal; the abandonment of our very own American prisoners of war held in Soviet custody at the end of World War II -- and every other conflict against communist forces. As serious journalists such as Sidney Schanberg and Monika Stevenson discovered, it's a subject no one wants to know about. I suggest that Memorial Day is the day to find out why and to honor all of our war dead, including the ones who were left behind.
